OPIE Man­u­fac­tur­ing Group operates a modern in-house powder coating facility using high-per­for­mance coating systems that deliver ex­cep­tion­al dura­bil­i­ty while min­imis­ing en­vi­ron­men­tal impact.

Compared with tra­di­tion­al solvent-based paint systems, powder coating offers sig­nif­i­cant en­vi­ron­men­tal benefits, including:

Steel & The Circular Economy

Steel remains one of the world’s most sus­tain­able en­gi­neer­ing materials.

As one of Australia’s leading metal man­u­fac­tur­ers, OPIE Man­u­fac­tur­ing Group works ex­ten­sive­ly with steel, aluminium and stainless steel—all materials that can be recycled re­peat­ed­ly without com­pro­mis­ing their struc­tur­al per­for­mance.

Through the OPIE Green Loop, we maximise sheet nesting, minimise offcuts and ensure man­u­fac­tur­ing scrap is recovered through certified Aus­tralian recycling partners wherever possible.

Combined with the long service life of our en­gi­neered products, this supports a more circular economy while reducing the demand for virgin raw materials.
